Home & Comfort – Caribbean flavors Hilawe Cuisine


Born January 10th, 1972 in Spanish Town Jamaica. Second son of Yvonne and Hubert Watson Sr., chef Hubert Watson has always loved the kitchen. Growing up, he would watch his mom while she did her magic, sorting spices together for Sunday dinners. He knew that one day he wanted to be the head of the kitchen too, just like his mother.

What inspired him most was a plaque on the kitchen wall that stated, “The Kitchen Is The Heart Of The House.” From reading that plaque as a young boy he said, “I want my cooking to come from the heart.” Simpling because if it comes from the heart, it has to be hearty.

When I’m in the kitchen it comes from my heart to yours. I take a lot of pride into my food preparation, creativity, presentation and most of all the taste.

Hilawe Cuisine, specialize in caribbean dining. Providing only the best catering services for events, anniversaries, birthdays, housewarmings, family reunions or weddings. Hilawe’s menu consists of a variety of mouth watering dishes such as:
